Why a cluster?

BANANA
FLAGSHIP
The banana export in Ecuador is the flagship of Ecuadorian exports and the support of a large part of its links in the value chain. Let's go over the numbers:

350 MILLION CARDBOARD BOXES

6500 WEEKLY EXPORT CONTAINERS

THOUSANDS OF TONS OF PLASTIC AND AGRICULTURAL SUPPLIES

250,000 WORK PLACES (DIRECT AND INDIRECT)

THOUSANDS OF TRANSPORTATION UNITS THAT MOVE WITH THE THREE BILLION DOLLARS OF THE BANANA.
All this without entering the micro-economic impact of rural economies in the provinces where the banana is produced and even more if we add other musaceae.
The entire economy of scale that allows you that volume of cargo and production not only for export but for the entire national economy
